General Information
Electrical and Electronics Engineering; production, transmission, distribution, and conversion of electrical energy; use, design, implementation, monitoring, protection, and control; economics and management; smart grid systems, electric drive systems and design, converters, electrical machines, power transformers, etc. it is a branch of engineering that covers scientific and technological issues. In addition, Electrical and Electronics Engineering is an interdisciplinary engineering field that includes some of the subjects of electronics, communication, computer, and mechanical engineering. Dec. The share of Electrical and Electronics Engineering in the rapidly advancing technology development in the information age is great.
Electrical and Electronics Engineering aims to prepare its students for the future with advanced knowledge and equipment required by electrical and electronics engineering by today's technological developments. The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering aims to train Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Academics who can work and conduct research in the above-mentioned areas, have the ability to use modern engineering tools and methods, have assimilated professional and ethical Decrees, can adapt to interdisciplinary teamwork, and have a lifelong learning awareness.
The bachelor's program of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is aimed to be structured in such a way as to provide graduates with a qualified infrastructure that can adapt to rapidly changing working environments in the global world and establish a successful career. The aim of this undergraduate program is to train graduates who are prone to both individual work and group work and to prepare them with the following qualifications:
- To be able to train R&D, design, and application engineers who are qualified to work professionally in national and international organizations by using theoretical knowledge and practical skill Decoupling.
- To train engineers who will constantly follow scientific and technological developments, and who can offer sustainable solutions to technological problems with a developed sense of entrepreneur and responsibility.
The employment fields of those who will graduate from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering can be evaluated in a very wide range. Production of electrical machines and power transformers, control and automation systems, power electronics, high voltage switchgear sites, cable industry, lighting equipment industry, and other public and private organizations supporting the industry have wide job opportunities based on design, project design, sales representation, consulting, customer service, and relationships. Research and development departments in the private and/or government sectors, as well as communication, automotive, power plants, and electricity distribution sectors are the most general areas of study.
In addition, graduates can make significant contributions to both the economy of our country and higher education institutions in the fields of science and industry by doing postgraduate studies.
Our Vision;
To be one of the best Electrical and Electronics Engineering departments in the country, which is nationally and internationally accredited, in constant communication with other universities and the private sector, providing quality education internationally.
Our mission;
To contribute to the development of our country and humanity by educating virtuous engineers equipped with the most up-to-date information, hardworking, with critical and analytical thinking skills, experts in their field, able to communicate well, and create solutions to problems.
